After placing my photography interests on hold for 25 years, I recently re-engaged, using photography to assuage the tension between my rational, objective, sometimes mathematical persona and my repressed creative energy. I have come to view photography as a magical experience that can freeze time and alter reality. Our world moves fast, the arrow of time is one-directional and so much expression is missed as we carry on our lives. A photo can preserve that moment and allow us to go back and magically re-examine these fragments, or to even render a different perception of reality.
